Leeeet's Make a Deal! With your host Jairus Monty Hall

**Please note: BlackRock is a bar and grille, so you don't have to be over 21 to attend**

You are on Let's Make A Deal with the original Big Dealer, Monty Hall!

Monty has offered you three doors. Behind one of those doors is a brand new 1967 Volkswagen Minibus! But, pick carefully, behind the other two is a lowly goat.

You pick door number 2, and in typical gameshow fashion, Monty first shows you what is behind door number 3. It's a goat! Now, Monty offers you one last chance. You can stick with door number 2 or you can change your mind and pick door number 1. Common sense tells you that there is no advantage to changing. You have a 50-50 chance of getting the Volkswagen whether you stay or change.

But common sense is wrong...

Join the Chicago Skeptics to dig deeper into the Monty Hall Problem. And - in true Let's Make A Deal fashion - you will get a seat in front and a chance to play if you come in costume!

Don't forget to bring random wacky stuff in your bag/purse that Jairmonty might just wanna swap for! I'm already working on my bunch-o-grapes costume and have an egg, a nail file, a baby doll and a rock in my bag.

Remember to wear a costume! I'll be picking one or more contestants from the audience to make deals with, but - just like on the show - you have to be in costume to get picked. (Hint: "Chicagoan in Winter" is not a costume I recognize.) It can be as elaborate or as simple as you want. You can put on a headband with cat ears or you can dress up as the Battlestar Galactica, but you must be in costume to play.
