What Paul is saying about this Meetup Group

Rating: TWO stars. After I returned home on Sat. afternoon I wrote a few remarks. Some examples: "SECULARISM ALERT: Secularism is a guiding principle of Chicago Skeptics. But why? Has physicalism been proved true? If so, when? how? and by whom? Furthermore, is it prudent to advocate secularism without such proof? NIHILISM ALERT...: The leader...cast suspicion on absolutes with her written words...and emphasized this skepticism toward absolutes while speaking. Shall now we doubt the claim, “existence is”? Perhaps existence is not, but if that's the case, then whence cometh skepticism? At least she conceded that skeptics have a reputation for wishywashiness." So, Epistemology should be happy that it was invited at all and is permitted a seat. Unfortunately, the very existence of Knowledge is doubted, and she ought never to expect unrestricted membership without the organizers of CS having been prompted to permit it.
