Swing Dancing at Willowbrook Ballroom with The Flat Cats!

Kick up your heels to start the Thanksgiving weekend!

Dance to the music of The Flat Cats at the historic Willowbrook Ballroom Wednesday, November 21st on Chicagoland’s largest dance floor. Let's celebrate Willowbrook's 91st Anniversary Year!

One of Chicago's best small Swing Bands, The Flat Cats play at Summerdance and regularly at Willowbrook. Attendance for Swing Dancing at Willowbrook is usually 250+.

Basic Swing lesson 7:30, The Flat Cats at 8:30. Admission is $10. Free Parking. No Meetup charge. Dress nice casual or vintage, Willowbrook policy is no blue jeans (or gym shoes). If you don't have dancing shoes, leather soles work the best. Full service bar.

Try to get there a little before 7:30 to Meetup. There is dancing for all levels and you might pick up a few tips by watching the more experienced dancers. RSVPs preferred so we know how many tables to hold, but don't stay away because you didn't RSVP.

Look for tables with Meetup signs. Hope to see you there.

The Flat Cats always pack Willowbrook because their music is perfect for dancing. They'll be back at Willowbrook on Friday December 21st! See their schedule:

Are there partners to be found if we come alone? And who will put up with 2 left feet?

Hope, If you're attending alone, make sure to get there for the lesson from 7:30-8:30. Partners will rotate during the lesson, so you have a chance to meet several gentlemen you can dance with when the band starts. Everyone starts with "two left feet." Experienced dancers are friendly and love to encourage beginners. -Jim
