BYO Dinner -- December

As we continue to explore the city's diverse BYO restaurants, we'll travel to the South Loop for this month's event, to a highly-recommended yet not yet known new BYO, Cuatro.

Cuatro offers Nuevo Latino food in a warm, rustic setting. The chef brings the traditional flavors of Latin American and Caribbean cuisines in a modern, yet down-to-earth fashion. The approach is one of simplicity and boldness of flavors with an emphasis on popular Mexican cooking.

Exposed beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, and well-spaced seating give this historic Motor Row style building an open, airy feel. Cuatro’s earth toned walls and warmly lit interior blend with colorful accents and rustic stained floors. Its centerpiece, a hand-crafted ebony bar, features an eight foot, see-into-the-kitchen tropical fish tank, cabaña-like louvered shutters and ocean motifs, lending Latin-Caribbean style to the restaurant. Live Latin jazz bands and DJs perform after dinner on weekends, adding to the hip-tropical ambiance.

As always, bring a bottle of wine that you would like to try with this unique cuisine... we'll split the cost of the bill (and gratuity) at the end.
