Great movie! Racing looks so much cooler in slow motion, which is why I always go slow. Good seeing all of you CDSR'ers on Sunday. Can't wait until spring.

That always going slow thing is nothing but lies!

AWESOME MOVIE! Made me want to ride... even in the snow. Great to see the regulars & to meet a few new faces. It played a lot on your memories of motorcycle events. Funny, cute & meaningful. Especially from a double amputee rider.

Great movie. Brought up cool memories of riding my old pull start B and S mini bike. Touched on the main reasons we do what we do. Takes us away from everyday stuff, the adrenaline rush of conquering the next challenge and the opportunity to hang with great people.

I have two tickets for today's show, but I tweaked my back this morning and am not going to be able to make it downtown. Contact me off list if you will use the tickets and I can email them to ya. Stayin' horizontal,

Let's all try to meet before we go in the theatre for the movie. I'll probably be wearing a Fox baseball cap on backwards. Most of you will know KB, Me or Dave I think so just look for us, We're the "Dirty Ones"!

Pursuant to a request by JT, I reserved a table for 20 at FoodLife in the Water Tower complex. About three blocks from the theater. Pk

For all of you driving in to the city. Their is lots of free parking in front of my place just a mile west of the movie theater. From here we can share a cab.

My office uses the parking garage at the Hancock, I can probably get some day passes at our discounted rate. Contact me if interested.

KEVIN~ How far of a walk is your parking? What would be the cost? I am in a vehicle with 5 others so for us the cost is moot. kb

      December 3, 2013

    • Kevin M

The pass is $8 and the parking garage is actually at the shopping center at 900 N Michigan. I think there's parking across the street from the theater for $15.

I have parking passes for a parking lot at Wabash and Randolph, that is a 20 minute walk to the theater. They cost me $16 and I will sell to up to 4 people. I can get more if there is the demand. Two things you should know: You might save about $15 or more by buying parking passes from me, but the weather report for next weekend, subject to change as we all know, calls for a high of 27 and possible snow. And another thing is we have to contemplate that during the busy Christmas shopping season, parking lots, including mine, do fill up to capacity.

So where shall we eat? I might suggest Foodlife at Water Tower Place, 3 blocks north of the theater. foodlifechicago.com. They have a huge cafeteria style food court where everybody can pick from 14 different kitchens and pay for it before they sit down. No tipping. They might even reserve their party room for us. As of today there were 40 tix left for the 2pm show.

JT - My company provided a lot of the footage for this movie so at some point I will have access to a copy of it. Perhaps we can have a private showing for those who are unable to attend this meetup?

    Happy Thanksgiving all!
