Do you want to practice your Arabic? Are you fascinated by the Arab culture and civilization? Are you of an Arabic decent?
This is a social group where we get together once a month and practice Arabic. We come together both as new learners and native speakers to share the passion of discussing Middle Eastern topics in a very relaxed environment nibbling on Arabic appetizers. Please feel free to join us whether you speak or you are just curious about how to say Salam.

Great to meet the native speakers from Iraq... Another dialect for us Arabic learners to digest!

Actually there is a stop for Chicago Ave. It's one stop past Grand on the blueline, and from there you can catch the 66 Chicago bus westbound (towards Austin). Get out at Damen and the restaurant is right there!

That will probably be the quickest and easiest way to get there.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
