CANOE NIPPERSINK CREEK Spend a day in the "wilds" of McHenry County as we paddle seven miles of the Nippersink Creek completely within the undeveloped areas of Glacial Park. We will meet at Keystone Landing where McHenry County Conservation District staff will teach you basic paddling techniques, canoe safety, and river canoeing. During the trip we will stop for a primitive picnic so bring a sack lunch and plenty of water to drink. You will also want to wear shoes that can get wet and can fully secure to your feet. Don't forget sunscreen! Be aware that there are no restroom facilities along the creek.
Note - This event does not yet have an Meetup Event Host but is hosted by MCCD. Just register, show up and look for other members from the RSVP list and have fun. If you are attending and will volunteer to be our group's greeter, please leave a note in the comment section below. Thanks!
