You can stay 1 or 2 nights. I have the cabin booked for Friday and Saturday Nights. I will only be there Friday Night.
9:15 Meet at Indiana Dunes for a hike.
3:00 (Chicago Time) Meet at Sandhill Crane Observation Point at Jasper-Pulaski Fish & Wildlife Area.
5:30 Check into the Cabin.
6:30 Head to town (Winamac) to eat.
8:30 Hang out by the fire, have S'mores, and play games.
Saturday Morning. Hike around Tippecanoe State Park.
We are starting the day Friday by hiking at Indiana Dunes.
We then take an hour ride to see the Sandhill Cranes at Jasper-Pulaski. In the evening, we head 20 miles to stay at Tippecanoe State Park the night. On Saturday morning we can either hike around Tippecanoe State Park or go back and see the Sandhill Cranes at Jasper-Pulaski.

Rustic Cabins: Vault toilets (No flush toilets or showers.) You will need to bring you bedding (sleeping bag, etc) also a camp chair for sitting round the fireplace. The Unit Lodge Building sleeps twelve (bulk beds), has limited electricity and a fireplace with insert for heating purposes.
The cost will be $6 for the cabin plus you will need to chip in for firewood. Firewood heats the cabin.
The limit is 12 people.
