This winter has been bad for me chess-wise. Long periods of non-play have made me worse that I normally am. The solution? MEETUP.

A good place to get your feet wet and learn how to improve your game without feeling like you're totally out of your league.

Please let your players know about our new, Monday night backgammon tournaments, starting March 2nd, at 5:30 PM at The Parthenon Restaurant, 312 S. Halsted, Chicago. There will be players of all levels, and we will be happy to teach and coach newer players on the nuances of live tournament play.
We hope to see you all there!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Phil Simborg, [masked], [masked]

I have a cat which is white and two cats which are black perhapes i'll start talking about them too. When I play chess in the house my cats think nothing of walking across the board and becoming the center of attention. Mark
Unfortunately I can't make Tuesday night because I have class. I may go Wednesday night.
Sure! I will look forward to see the next meetup and go!
I would love to attend the Krush-Mrktchian
match in person, but I can't seem to find the location and it's driving me crazy. Do you know where it is or were you talking about watching the games online?
