as Peleg well knows, I'm not the biggest fan of chess games with 3-d graphics, while interesting I personally do not feel that they add much to the experience of playing and if I really want 3-d, I'll fire up one of my other games where the 3-d is an integral part of the gameplay.

BUT having said this, here's a link to a chess game from retro64 (I really like almost all of their games) that might be of interest.­

While you will have to purchase to keep the game, I like to download the free trials and enjoy them for a bit, please also note, there seem to be some pretty strict limitations on this demo, also the program is a pretty weak player, but some of the capture animations are pretty creative.
