I have always been interested in Deco style. I grew up outside of New York City and have fond memories of looking up at the Chrysler Building, the McGraw Hill Building and other classic art deco architecture. I view art deco design as designers' first attempt to design useful objections with an eye toward what was becoming a "modern" world, a current challenge as we become a "post modern" world.
I am an intellectual property lawyer, in practice for over 25 years in Chicago. I currently live in a converted warehouse Loft in the West Loop. Our former home was a 1930's Tudor with deco touches.
