Euchre @ Stanley's on Racine (a/k/a Dan Howell)

Time for some great food and cold beer at a great location. Plenty of parking and right off the blue line Racine stop.

Hi again, Debbie Ann. You and your friend should play as partners the first game. It usually works out (depending on score card used) that you and that person will not partner again but will always be at the same table. Hope that helps!

Hi, we play a progressive euchre game. Everyone gets assigned a number. The score card will tell you who your partner is and who you are playing against for the round. We play twice around and then switch partners. I have a guy on the side, not a plus one in case someone doesn't show up. If they were my plus one, a spot at the game would be taken. Thanks Jean for answering. See you there.

Thanks for appeasing my curiosity Jean :) That makes sense! This will be my first meet-up and I will be bringing a friend. Do you happen to know how the "partnering" works at meet-ups? No big deal, if not. See ya there.

I'm guessing his +1 is insurance for the people who (often) drop out same day or don't show, which screws up the entire thing. If that extra person shows, (again guessing) he'll probably give up his spot. This is the ONE thing that keeps me from organizing more often. Now I'm hoping Dan joins in here.

How does a euchre meet-up work with an odd number of participants (17)?
