We play various strategy boardgames, also called "Eurogames" or "designer games". If you aren't familiar with that terminology, you may recognize a few of the most popular titles, like Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Dominion, Ticket to Ride, 7 Wonders, Puerto Rico, Agricola, Ra, and Race for the Galaxy. We are extremely happy to have beginners! Whether you are new to our group, or new to Euro games (or both!), we will help you to find a game that you will enjoy :)

You'll have a broad choice of games to learn and play because several members usually bring lots of different types of games ranging from "light and frothy" to "heavy and thoughtful", with many choices in between. Most members are very happy to teach you any game you want to learn. If you wish to bring a game, please feel free! Keep in mind that generally games are open to everyone to use, so only bring copies that you feel comfortable sharing with others.

We will ALWAYS bring the following "core" games for players to use:

• Stone Age
• Pandemic
• Puerto Rico
• Carcassonne

John and I own a fairly large game collection, and we are willing to bring MOST games to Meetups (we generally will not bring those that are exceptionally large, long, and/or very rare).
