Chicago Restaurant Week Dinner at Tavern at the Park

Enjoy the signature creations from the chefs of Tavern at the Park as we celebrate the 7th annual Chicago Restaurant Week.
Originally conceived as method of bolstering sales during a traditionally slow time for the restaurant industry, this 14 day "week" has grown to embody a large part of Chicago's dining diversity... all during a time when the premium establishments are held to lower pre fixe menu prices and are encouraged to dial up their creativity.

On the tastiest of notes, while other participants stick with the almost overly executed braised short ribs or salmon, our very own Tavern at the Park has created a menu comprised of Maine Lobster Crepes, smoked duck breast bruschetta and an 8 oz Prime Sirloin London Broil.

The Pre Fixe menu from Tavern at the Park is $33 ($10 cheaper than the common $44) and does not include tax, tips or beverages.

    Chuck, this looks like a great meetup. Unfortunately, I have a class on Tuesday evenings. They offer outstanding opportunities during restaurant week. "Tavern at the Park" looks like a really sweet choice. I hope others sign up. Its getting warmer! We need to avoid the cabin fever from creeping in.

    Thanks for suggesting your event, Chuck. How many seats are under your reservation? Our members will be paying the flat $1 RSVP to join the table and pay for the meal at the event.

      Well this is your group, but I'm not convinced a $1 fee will deter no shows. You may consider calling the restaurant with a revised head count under your name. I didn't want to have any surprises on the evening of the dinner.
