We're really excited about CGN's first GIS Lightning Talk event, and hope that you are as well. We anticipate being at Little Giants, located at 2041 W. Chicago Ave, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, on Tuesday February 5th facilitating the Lightning Talks. Afterwards, we will take a short trek across the street to Cleo's at 1935 W. Chicago Ave for Geo-Networking and general good times!
What To Expect
We have scheduled five presenters. Each presenter will speak for 5 minutes max and will be immediately followed by a 5 minute Q & A.

Catalina Nava - UIC's Data Visualization Program
Emily Sipfle - Housing Organizations and the Foreclosure Crisis
Derrick Anderson - Talking to Superiors about the Value of GIS
Steve Vance - Converting Shapefile and KML Files
Geo-Networking on March 5th at 6pm, Location TBD.
