Psychological, Supernatural, Apocalyptic, Slasher (or anything not listed)

Psychological, supernatural, vampire (yes, I know), body horror, splatter, Lovecraft, classics - depends on my mood. And I always love a good monster.

Show the Gore, or leave it to your imagination?

Again, it depends on mood. Sometimes I just want to see some mindless blood and gore. But I also appreciate subtlety. There's usually more to be afraid of in what you don't see; your mind can be a scarier place than anything on screen.

Original or Remake?

My knee-jerk reaction is original but I can enjoy seeing someone else's vision of a classic. I like to compare.

Can you handle it?

Try me.

Wildlife biologist, educator, avid reader, and amateur photographer (with film even!).
