Time to turn it to 11 ... TorqueBox

Ben Browning, member of the TorqueBox team, will be out and about, ready to show you why he loves TorqueBox and you should too.

Not familiar with TorqueBox? TorqueBox is a platform for building Ruby applications running on top of JBoss. More information is here -

So swing out, hang with Ben, and turn it to 11

Background on Ben - Ben is the lead of the TorqueBox project and an active contributor to JRuby and other open-source projects. He spent several years in the enterprise Java world before embracing the JRuby goodness and now works hard at Red Hat to bring the Ruby and Java communities together through TorqueBox.

Ben gave an awesome overview of Torquebox - started with making the case for why it was better than just rails and then showed building up an app using some of that awesomeness. Overall, awesome.
