What is your interest level of camping out and going to Woodstock, IL Jazz Festival?

I wanted to guage the interest level of a possible outing for the Jazz on the Square festival in Woodstock, IL on August 24th & 25th. I was thinking of possibly making it a camping outing in case anyone wanted to do both days and there is a campground a mile from the Square. I do have camping gear (tents, some grills, etc.) but you would need sleeping gear (air mattress or pad, sleeping bag) and lawn chair. The campground is privately owned, which permits us to responsibly consume adult beverages and also has running water for showers (Visit willoakscampground.com for more info). The Metra UP-NW line stops in downtown Woodstock. The square is pretty nice and is an attraction in itself. I hope to guage the interest level in order to determine if I should get a group or individual camp site. http://www.jazzonthesquare.com/#!festival

Which jazz event in February should Ryan host? **Vote By Jan. 31st**

I've been meaning to host an outing again, but I'm having a tough time deciding on one for February and I need your help. Please have some inclination to go if you do vote for something. #1. Wednesday, Feb. 15 Jazz Café on Tour, Downtown Glen Ellyn, 7 to 10 p.m., Free Goran Ivanovic and Andreas Kapsalis at Cab’s Wine Bar Bistro, 430 N. Main St. Rio Bamba at Santa Fe Restaurant, 426 N. Main St. Frank Caruso Trio at Shannon’s Irish Pub, 428 N. Main St. Neal Alger at Tap House Grill, 411 N. Main St. Might make for a fun Bar Crawl in Downtown Glen Ellyn. #2. Feb. 9 - 12 8pm, Donald Harrison, Jazz Showcase, Stated admission $20 We had a great time the last time we saw Donald and I'd like to make a return trip. #3. Feb 23-26 8pm, Larry Coryell Trio, $25/$20 http://www.jazzshowcase.com/shows/2012/guitarist-larry-coryell-trio-2520-8pm-10pm Please vote by January 31st. Hope you can make it out!

Where should we hook up for Mulligan Mosiacs?

Hoping to come up with a spot to eat before Mulligan Mosiacs. I know folks have mentioned Hackney's & Bar Louie, but I wanted to throw a couple of more options out there. All are within walking distance.

February 16th Meetup Options

I had originally had an idea to see James Perkins Tribute to John Coltrane at Jazz Showcase on the 16th. I was recently made aware of something happening in Glen Ellyn that same night, Wednesday, Feb. 16 Jazz Café on Tour - Downtown Glen Ellyn 7 to 10 p.m. • Marshall Vente Piano Trio at Tap House Grill * • Peter Lerner (solo jazz guitarist) at Cab's Wine Bar Bistro * • Mike Allemana Organ Trio at Shannon's Irish Pub * Free performances, food and beverages available for purchase I think both events are equally appealing. I'll let the group decide which one works best for them and create the meetup. If someone who wanted to go to the non-selected idea and doesn't mind becoming a host, we can still create a meetup for that idea.
