Chicago Jedi Invade A Klingon Christmas Carol

Tickets are sold out, so the delegation to witness the Klingon Long Night celebration is complete.  We will represent the Order to the best of our abilities.

In case you need a reminder of the basic story: Scrooge has no honor, nor any courage. Can three ghosts help him to become the true warrior he ought to be in time to save little tImHom from a horrible fate? Performed in the Original Klingon with English Supertitles, and narrative analysis from The Vulcan Institute of Cultural Anthropology.

The Dickens classic tale of ghosts and redemption is adapted to reflect the Warrior Code of Honor and then translated into tlhIngan Hol  (that's the Klingon Language).  It's great fun even for people who are not necessarily fans of Star Trek, but there are extra jokes in the play for those that are.

Had a great time. I didn't know what to expect, and it was easy to follow, though a few jokes might have been missed if you weren't at all familiar with the StarTrek culture. That wouldn't have made a difference to enjoying the play, as it stood well enough as a translation of the original story explaining the different spiritual goal.
If it runs again next year, I'll be going, and would recommend it strongly.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
