Jedi at Kankakee Fantasy Convention

Our group will be one of the honored guests at the Kankakee Fantasy Convention. This sci-fi/fantasy convention is for costumers, collectors, gamers and any other person that likes the genre and wants to have a good time.
The event runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Come for any or all of the time. Feel free to come dressed in your Jedi attire, though it is not required. We encourage you to come and show your support.
NOTE: If you wish to be part of the stage presentation, let us know in your response. We will need people to perform skits, hand out materials, take video, staff/keep watch over equipment, etc. We ask that you arrive by noon. Additionally we will have some rehearsals based upon your level of participation.

It was a great experience. We had good conversations with the library staff and vendors. It was fun to pose for pictures with the patrons.

If anyone needs a ride, please let me know. This is our first serious demo, our chance to show what we are all about, and we have a stage show planned at about 3:00...ANYONE who can show up early, around ten o'clock, PLEASE, we want to make a good impression!!! Never mind that the whole day is FREE and looks to be a lot of fun! Let's look sharp!
