I really like the simplicity and directness of Star Wars - the story of good versus evil. But underlying that simple surface were complicated and difficult ideas and questions. The Jedi present an ideal that is difficult to meet in the real world but is hopeful and beneficial.
There is always more to learn and even more to experience. I hope we can encourage each other in our attempts at discipline, calmness, confidence, self-control, and service.
I tend to be a jack-of-all-trades, so I enjoy learning new things more than teaching the ones I already know. But perhaps there are a few things that a few members might learn from my medical, meditation, and sword experience.
The original Star Wars movies were popular in my formative years. I have studied philosophy, psychology, meditation, and martial arts. Then I discovered this group, bringing those same things together under the banner of Jedi.
Learn something new! Try something you've never done before and expand your horizons. Then pick up a light sabre and whack your friends!
