Introduction

My previous experience was heavily involved with public company product roll-outs or companies that were past an A round venture capital. I want to learn from others how to better build and run a company from start-up phase.

Are you currently practicing Lean Startup techniques (e.g. Customer Development)?

I think I am - would be nice to learn more! I have not read the book yet, but did order it.

What specific topics related to the Lean Startup are you interested in?

I don't know enough yet to determine specifics.

What is your twitter name?

What Randy Shipley is saying about this Meetup Group

I would definitely attend future meetings, much higher value than pitch campaigns. I did not think it was appropriate for Feeding Frenzy to be passing out flyers and pushing their agenda at a meeting like this.

  • Randy,
    I would really enjoy meeting or speaking with you sometime. I am the founder of tix4cause.com, a website that puts power in your purchase and turns empty seats into donations for charity. To learn more, please feel free to contact us at [masked] or my cell is [masked]. Would love to learn more about crowdfunding.

  • RandY;

    Let's discuss using CF for professional athletes. I know a guy who sets-up and does a ton of "corporate responsibility" stuff including athletes.

  • Hi Randy,
    Thanks for your note. You mentioned that it will be great to have someone at the meeting who's actually been doing crowdfunding--and that's true, I have. However, I have been doing donor and reward-based CF. Are you going to be discussing that in any depth? Because the conversations I've been seeing all seem to be directed at equity-based CF. Looking to learn about BOTH in more depth and meet like-minded reward-based CFers, too. Just want to make sure I'm clear on the agenda. Thanks!

  • Hi Randy. Thanks for organizing this great group. I look forward to sharing our various green initiatives, hoping there could be a connection between us to pursue. I believe our paths have crossed along the way. Best wishes, Jeff
