QS Show & Tell #12

  • September 30, 2013 · 6:00 PM

Hey QSers, our next meetup is right around the corner! This time we have presentations on Heart Rate Variability (aka HRV, one of the biggest QS topics lately), the correlation between running times and outdoor temperature, and blood testing.

• When: Monday, September 30th from 6pm-8pm. We'll have 30 minutes of drinks and networking and then we'll start the talks right at 6:30. Announcements will be kept to a minimum this time.

• Where: IMSA Room @ 1871. Directions: Go to the Merchandise Mart and tell the security guard in the lobby that you are going to the 12th floor. When exiting the elevator, walk toward the bright 1871 sign. Once inside 1871, take a right at the first hallway and you'll see a sign for our meetup. Call my cell at[masked] if you have any troubles. Parking: http://www.210nwells.com/1871parking

• Who: You! We'll be in the IMSA room again so please keep your RSVP updated.

If you have any questions, just shoot me an email.

Super informative talks and met really interesting like minded people! Also got me personally motivated to track myself more diligently. Refreshing to have such a unique forum and crowd. Bonus: Wine and wasabi almonds = life

Debbie... HRV can be raised in multiple ways. I'll recap my discovery that higher HRV can be more easily achieved and maintained through the use of specific supplements. I'll also summarize the longevity benefit of higher HRV and the biological mechanism underlying that benefit.

Have been doing emWave for a few years, and have been interested in better understanding HRV use in training (sounds like the focus of this show and tell). Can you post more info about who is giving the presentation. Thanks, Debbie
