Rails consultant from San Francisco visiting Chicago 7/2; looking for a desk and to network with local Rails folks

Hello,

My name is Wolfram Arnold, I'm a Ruby-on-Rails consultant, and run a boutique RoR firm based in San Francisco: www.rubyfocus.biz.

I'm in Chicago for a day on Thursday 7/2 and am looking to meet, network and go for lunch with local Rails developers, startup entrepreneurs and anyone else working on web or mobile applications.

I'd also like to find a space, office, desk, co-working facility to anchor down for the day.

This is a networking/biz dev day for me, and I'm happy and open to working on some code, helping you out with a problem, etc.

* Performance monitoring with New Relic's RPM suite
* Cloud-based search services (as opposed to using your own solr/sphinx servers), recentlyl worked on integrating Xoopit's CloudQuery
* XML-web services
* Anything to do with the new multi-form updates in Rails
* Semantic web applications
