UWH practice at CSU

If you are new to underwater hockey, please come out and join us!  If you get a chance let one of the organizers know you are coming and we can make sure to have some extra gear on hand for you.  If you don't get the chance, no worries, we stash some extra gear at each pool and we can get you outfitted when you show up (just bring a swimsuit!).

The first few practices are free and then we ask that everyone help us to pay for pool time and insurance.  We are asking for $12 per time or $170 per the session (January to July, about 17 practices).  We are also introducing 5 practice punch cards for $55 that can be used at either pool and are good for 1 year from date of purchase.  We will collect cash or checks on deck and now have a way to charge credit cards on deck as well!

Here is a map of where to park and how to get into the pool.  If you need a ride to practice, send a message to one of the organizers and we can see if someone can car pool with you or grab you from a train station.

Are the speedos required? What about securely tied shorts? And what about an athletic cup?

Most people wear speedos for less drag. But some people prefer to wear swim trunks. I think guys who also play underwater rugby wear a cup, but most underwater hockey players don't.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
