This is another joint event between ChicagoVeg and Chicagoland Independent & Documentary Films (CIDFilms) groups which will consist of two independent parts: a plant-based potluck and a film screening. You are welcome to join us for either (just the potluck or just the film) or for both. The potluck will start at 6:00 and the film will start at approximately 7:30 pm.
For potluck please bring:
The food you bring can be prepared by you or bought from a store/restaurant as long as you know ALL ingredients. House of Ayurveda will provide beverages for us.
At 7:30 PM we plan to watch documentary Ingredients:
"Ingredients was one of the most expertly crafted and most effective documentaries about food that I have ever seen." – Eric Shlapak, Examiner.com
The film will follow by the film discussion and socializing.
We will have a free raffle as House of Ayurveda will give away some exciting prizes!
There is a nominal $5 donation to support House of Ayurveda hosting the events, but please don't let a lack of funds to stop you. Everyone is welcome!
Any questions or comments? Carpooling arrangements? Please use the 'Comments' area on the event page.
Is there anyone who will be driving from the city or from somewhere accessible by the L? I would love to go but but would much rather not bother with Metra.
