The event was great and you guys have great energy, I just wanted to soak it in. Sad when I left because I realized most of these events are over an hour away. Would love if we could get some people to organize events in Elgin, Dundee, Algonquin. I would love to hear if there is any interest in the NW suburbs.

You are right, Natalie! In spite of occasion rain we gave out more promotional materials during one day today than we did during both days in the last year!
We were giving out our Why Veg posters (http://files.meetup.com/265380/...) for non-vegetarians and our ChicagoVeg posters (http://files.meetup.com/265380/...) to veg*ns.

We'll have some of ChicagoVeg T-shirts for sale to raise money in order to cover some of our expenses. We will also give out a limited number of these T-shirts to our volunteers who will be helping us for 3+ hours over the weekend as appreciation for their help. I am sorry that we are not in position to give it out to every volunteer. However, we truly appreciate if you can help us just for am hour or two. Another great reason to come by the ChicagoVeg booth! Ste Martaen, local gourmet vegan cheese makers and Chicago Vegan Food Truck owners, have graciously donated some of their yummy vegan cheese to offer at our booth for sampling! While supplies last, so make sure you come on by for a free taste!
