Syrette - No need to have tickets. We will have the RSVP list for checking people off against it.

Sharon - We don't know what time the room will be open and if there another event in this room before ours. We will probably arrive about half an hour before the beginning of the event to set it up. If anyone would like to come to help us to set it up or at the door, it would be great!

We have 15 people on the Waiting List. If you don't think that you are coming please change your RSVP to No ASAP so other people could take your spot. This a free event but Three Strikes Policy is in effect: http://www.chicagoveg.org/pages/Three_Strikes_Policy
Thank you for being conscious about your RSVP!

Just want to let everyone on the waiting list know - Jennifer is also speaking at my place - Green Spirit, on Friday evening at 7pm. Located at 7551 N Ridge Blvd, in Rogers Park.

The talk/demo will be about 1 1/2 hour so I expect will will done by 2pm. We may take some extra time to socialize after the presentation. Regarding RSVPs: Everyone on the waiting list receives email as soon as a spot opens up. Everyone gets a first-come-first-served opportunity to change their RSVP to 'Yes' (above the RSVP list). If there is no option for it, it means someone just did it first.
When you successfully RSVP you should see yourself on the RSVP list.
This Waiting list system has downfalls but allow us to know for sure that person who RSVP still wants to come as opposed to automatically push a next person from the waiting list who could possibly change his/her mind by this time.

A better option is to allow each person on the wait list to automatically register when their name comes up! By the time I get the email & log in, my place is long gone.
