Introduction
Vegetarian for 40 years, married to another vegetarian. We have raised three vegetarian children., whose significant others are also now embracing vegetarianism.
How did you hear about the group? (a friend, Facebook, an invite, Meetup search, etc.)

What's your favorite pastime?
Reading, but I also garden, watch movies, listen to music, take walks, cook and bake.
What book would you recommend to your friends?
I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy, among other genres. In the picture above, I'm holding a work by Patricia McKillip, which uses an alternative world fairy-tale like setting to explore themes of transformation, self-realization, family, etc..
If you will win 10 million dollars, what would you do?
I would start two foundations. One to award prizes in recognition of artistic works (paintings, dance, sculpture, music, theatre) that explore the relationship of humans to nature and the divine; the other would be to support the distribution of vegetarian food to the hungry.
