Hi, I'm Belinda (Bee Draper on FB), I'm vegan, my husband and daughter are lacto-ovo veg but mostly vegan. We like to eat, we like to meet other vegans, :).

Reading, going to cinema, cooking, writing.
What book would you recommend to your friends?
Animal Liberation by Peter Singer. Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky (really!)
If you will win 10 million dollars, what would you do?
Help out my family with loans they might have, fix my house up a bit, save some, and give the rest to charities.

Hi there Belinda! I saw you joined recently and just wanted to extent a warm welcome to the group.
We have dine-outs the first Saturday of every month, plus additional social and informational events throughout the year. Glad to see you'll be joining us at our Thanksgiving Potluck is in a few weeks. We'll see you then. Welcome to Vegan Chicago!

Hi Belinda; I'm intrigued by your animal ministry at CCUU and how we can work together. Young At Heart can always use volunteers for various activities and to help us get our word out about the value of senior pets, the incredible need to rehome those in shelters and the opportunity we have in this area to made a difference.
We are always in need of donations (money mostly but we also run a pet food pantry), foster homes and adoptive homes. I'm sure we can find ways to collaborate.
