Introduction
I'd like to meet other vegetarian/vegan people for socializing and gaining information. I became vegetarian due to my beliefs in animal rights, and am nearly vegan at this point.
How did you hear about the group? (a friend, Facebook, an invite, Meetup search, etc.)
I was contacted by the organizer (Vadim).
What's your favorite pastime?
Reading and watching movies/documentaries.
What book would you recommend to your friends?
The Omnivore's Dilemma.
If you will win 10 million dollars, what would you do?
Quit my job. Help family and donate to animal organizations like SASHA Farm, Farm Sanctuary, Anti-Cruelty and Tree House Cat Shelter. And get new carpet in my house.

It seems like a good group and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. It's only my second event with the group. I have conflicts with my work schedule that prevent me from attending many of the events, but I hope to attend more in the future.
