Introduction
I am a technologist with an artist's soul. Exposed to the wonders of vegetarianism at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Help in the 1980s, I converted to vegetarianism while observing a close friend die of brain cancer. I've never felt more alive.

What's your favorite pastime?
I love to ride my Tour de France 2006-winning road bike, scuba dive around the world, travel to exotic places, dine at Chicagoland's finest restaurants with my dining club, alpine ski, and experience Chicagoland's finest artistic organizations in live performance.
What book would you recommend to your friends?
Evolutionary Enlightenment by Andrew Cohen
If you will win 10 million dollars, what would you do?
Buy my apartment, sub-let it, then move to Paris and attend the Cordon Blu cooking school and then attempt to become the next Ferran Adria of Vegan Cuisine!
