Introduction
I live in the western suburbs and have been eating vegan for the last two years and thought it might be nice to meet others who share that choice.
How did you hear about the group? (a friend, Facebook, an invite, Meetup search, etc.)

What's your favorite pastime?
Cross-country skiing even though this year was a bust. Like to bike and hike. Would like to get back to running.

Buy a little house with some land so I can garden.

Thanks Rita. I tried to sign up for lessons at Arrowhead last year but my schedule just didn't cooperate with mother nature. I'm looking forward to this winter and learning more.

I didn't pay in September 09, I know that much? I did pay to one of the men in the group. Maybe a Tom? Could you ask him? I am so sorry I don't remember when it was and I don't even remember if I wrote a check or paid cash. If it is a problem I will try to find a check stub. Hope to see you all soon.

Could you tell me if membership dues are for a year? I was under that impression. Why would I not be getting updates and continue to get updates from meetup.com? I paid back in October 09. Please advise. Kelley Mindrup

Hello Rita: I have never cross country ski before. Although I would like to try. I am open to attending a meet up if equipment was available to rent and instruction was provided. At the least it would allow me to have a fuller winter experience and receive new exercise. Aleece

Hi Rita,
I wanted to get out and ski Saturday, but the wind never let up, so I stayed home. Still too cold for biking. we need another Alberta clipper to really drop some snow.

Yes, I will look forward to next Winter even if I don't get around to joining your group this year. I do have my own Cross Country Ski's.
