Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale - Chicago!!!

Chicago Veggie Pride Parade (CVPP) is coming soon (June 1, 2013)! It's aimed to be bigger and sweeter this year, and it needs your support to enjoy more sweets! We are holding an awesome and delicious vegan bake sale, where the proceeds will go to permits, equipment, and other CVPP expenses. CVPP is a free event, that is family friendly and fun and this is our second year!

We are following the lead of Chicago VeganMania by offering the bake sale at Ground Control to help promote this all vegetarian restaurant, with many vegan options. Therestaurant is kindly allowing us to use their extra space for this event and we urge you to check out Ground Control while you're at the bake sale.

While we have some people/companies that already offered to support us with their sweets, we are looking for more people who can also bake for us! If you are interested to contribute please email here so we can arrange enough space.

Help support your own Chicago Veggie Pride Parade celebrating the healthy vegan lifestyle, support the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale, and enjoy vegan treats - all at the same time!

Any questions or comments? Carpooling arrangements? Please use the 'Comments' area on the event page.

Please RSVP at the main event page:  ChicagoVeg.org/events/[masked] so we could have a correct headcount to know how many people we should expect.

I'd love to meet people. Are you meeting in one location at the event?

What is this exactly? Do all bake together/learn how to bake vegan? or is it more so where everybody brings something vegan that's already baked to sell it? Sorry, it's just not clear to me...

I like the idea of a vegan baking demo or lesson! This event is a traditional bake sale where there will be baked goods available for purchase. We're also looking for volunteers to donate baked goods as well but if you just want to come and buy goodies that's ok too!
