CVPP Planning Meeting - Get Involved!

Please join us for this meeting if you are interested in helping out with the 2013 Chicago Veggie Pride Parade!

We will be meeting at the Whole Foods is located a block south of North Ave. and has free parking. Please find us at one of the tables on the second floor (at the site where washrooms are). Vadim will wear a name tag.

This will be a general planning meeting with a focus on Outreach Committee effort. However, during this meeting we will touch on all aspects of the parade including: Outreach, Operations and Finance.

While we will have fun planning, please keep in mind that this is not a social event but a business meeting.

It will be a great learning and volunteering opportunity which will include both: leadership and supportive roles. Everyone is welcome!

Everyone: one of the take aways from last meeting was to brainstorm ideas on how to attract more volunteers (to prepare for discussion with March 7th's meeting. I discovered a few websites where we can post volunteer requests. One such place is: http://www.volunteermatch.org/. They have also helpful references to attract volunteers as well as marketing causes.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
