2014 Emerging Visions Competition: Winner Announcement & Jury Roundtable

The Chicago Architectural Club, in partnership with the Graham Foundation and AIA Chicago, recently launched the 2014 Emerging Visions portfolio competition. Founded in 1998, the Emerging Visions competition recognizes significant architectural endeavors by promising young architects and designers based in Chicago.

Please join us on March 13, 2014, as CAC announces the results of the 2014 competition. A brief presentation by the winner will be followed by a special roundtable discussion with the jury.

This year’s jury includes Emerging Visions alumni Michael Wilkinson, Sarah Dunn & Martin Felsen (UrbanLab), Tristan d’Estree Sterk (ORAMBRA), Karla Sierralta & Brian Strawn (Strawn.Sierralta), and Iker Gill (Mas Studio), AIA Chicago executive vice-president Zurich Esposito, Graham Foundation director Sarah Herda, as well as prize founders Elva Rubio and Dan Wheeler.

This EMERGING VISIONS program Thursday pm at the Graham Foundation, organized by the Chicago Architectural Club, will be great. Hear from the winners of the Emerging Visions portfolio competition and from several of the past winners. A great way to learn more about presenting your work. Also, if you haven't seen the current exhibit at the Graham, you will be surprised and impressed!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
