Weekend trip to Detroit; please respond A.S.A.P.

Dear YAF members,

We are planning a weekend-long trip to Detroit on June 26-27 and we need to know how many people are interested in participating. We can only do the tour and get group rates if we get 45 people for this tour; that's why it's critical for you to RSVP as soon as possible if you want to join (you don't need to pay right away - we just need to see a 'show of hands' so we can continue our planning efforts). The trip will consist of intense and comprehensive Detroit site-seeing on Saturday and DIA (Detroit Institute of Art) and Cranbrook tour on Sunday. We are planning to hit major architectural landmarks by Khan, Mies, Yamasaki, Saarinen, Wright and others and get a flavor of local specialties through the Eastern Market and the Greektown. Be prepared to wake up early on Saturday and come back in the late hour on Sunday as it is a 5-hour bus drive away. The tour price will be about $150 per person, which will include the bus, hotel (Marriott at the Renaissance Center), entries into the DIA, Powabic Pottery and tour guides on the bus and at the sites; food and entertainment is still on you as you will have some choices to pick from besides our recommendations.

Again, if you are interested please RSVP on our meet-up site so we can get the head count.
Thanks much and hope we can make this happen.
