Release of physical stress and tension, structural body-integration, strengthening, and energetic expansion are not only for the super-athletic and able-bodied. This group exists to support, instruct and serve individuals who are:
living with physical disability,
in various stages of health or dis-ease, or
recovering from illness, injury or physical trauma.
My own experiences with chronic illness and the benefits of yoga practice inspired me to become a yoga teacher, certify in Adaptive Yoga with a well-known U.S. paraplegic yoga teacher, and to offer this practice to others free of charge.
Yoga IS for ALL Bodies!
Adaptive Yoga brings anyone to confident practice of yoga by supporting students to find and work confidently at their optimal level of performance given their current body situation.
