We all wish our friend well.  You can never predict when illness will strike any one of us.  That is my biggest concern that should reality confront me who would take care of my kids.  I am blessed ...  have several friends who would be there to find homes for a chi, a kitteh, a macaw. This is something we should always think about, bummer, eh? Hope she recovers quickly!  CoCo, MJ, Casey, Holiday, a maltese rescue looking for a home.... & pete

Hey Lynne, good morning.
I just got off the phone with Karen and wanted to provide this update (she was okay with it and just wanted to express her gratitude and for the continued prayers).
Conner has pneumonia with some other difficulties along with it…he has had some seizure activity which is new to them…they are waiting to have an MRI so that the physicians can read the Cat Scan results as well so that they can determine what is going on…She and Sean have been through this but have managed to do this on their own with no family around.  She expressed how much she appreciates your notification to the group and how much she feels like the Chi group is like family to them.  I asked her to PLEASE not hesitate to ask for help as we are all here to provide not only prayers but support in any way we can… Conner is in Pediatric ICU and cannot have visitors at this time but will let us know when/if that changes.
The hospital address is for anyone who wants to send cards…
St. Joseph Children’s Hospital 3001 West Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Tampa, FL  33607   - Patient Room is 239/PICU, the hospital phone number is[masked]-8500.  I was connected to the ICU nursing station and they gave Karen the message.
Will keep posted if I hear of anything else.  I have offered to keep the pups for her while they were  at the hospital…hopefully she will reconsider.
