Piddington to Stokenchurch

Walk length 12 miles/19 km approx. Circular.

A very scenic walk from Piddington to Radnage and Stokenchurch using a mixture of woods and country field tracks.

The walk goes through East Wood which contains mature beach, oak and holly trees and passes the hamlets of Studley and Horsleys Green. Parts of the walk follow the Chiltern Way, a recently developed circular footpath through the Chiltern Hills of 134miles.

Lunch and Finish

Please bring a snack lunch and water for the walk. The walk should finish at about 5.00pm and include a 30 min snack lunch stop and pub at the end, however the time may be earlier or later than this depending on the weather and pace (we have a relaxed pace which includes sightseeing and photography).

Transport and meeting

Meet at the public car park close to theThe Dashwood Arms Pub from 10.45am for the walk to start at 11.00am

There is no train service for this walk; I would encourage you to seek other members who are driving.
