Chiltern Explorers are based in High Wycombe, in the Chiltern Hills, which are designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. See the NAAONB website
These hills cover nearly 50 miles passing across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, they are close to London and easily accessible by train.
Our aim is to explore these beautiful hills and maybe even further afield, mainly on foot and sometimes by bike.
We are enthusiastic about photography and are always taking photographs and if you join us on one of our walks, you will definitely be encouraged to do the same!
All our walks are researched and pre-walked before an event, leaving you free to relax and enjoy the lovely scenery in the company of other like minded individuals and of course you will be keeping fit!
Most of our walks start at or near a local railway station, with nearby access to car parking (free if possible) to give you a choice of transport.
