Longer description: A beautiful winter walk from Aldbury up onto the ridgeway and through Ashridge to stop for hot drinks and cake at the Bridgewater monument cafe before heading back down into Aldbury to finish. Parking in the village or there is a small car park at the playing fields on Stocks road, a little bit further out of the village.
