I speak Mandarin conversationally now and I am looking for more opportunities to converse with native speakers. I am also the organizer of the Advanced Chinese Conversation group.
I want to practice Mandarin.
English is my native language.

Hey Dan,
I really want to join the activity but I have classes every Tuesday. Is it convenient for you to plan the activity on Wednesday sometime?
Best,
Chan
Hey Dan,
I tried to find the e-mail about the 4PM start time but seem to have lost it in my gmail and can't find it. I think it was maybe just a personal g-mail notification of an event that I was planning on attending and may have been listing the time as GMT or something like that ...
Hey Dan,
Sorry for the late response. You see, I joined so many groups and I receive so many messages from Meetup.com that I set up a seperate Spam folder for it, and sometimes I don't see everything people sent me.
Anyways, I can make the wednesday meeting and I think Bryant Park's a great change of venue. Looking forward to meeting the group again!
下周见!
Dan, as you know (or not), I am now the Chinese Admissions Specialist at a school in Brooklyn. Our main class is for medical assistants. I would love to have a captive audience to get the word out more. I have talked to a few people at the Whole Foods meetup, but it would be nice to talk about the medical profession to a group. And I could trow in a lot of medical terms. Sorry I can't make it tonight, but I'll be back!
Awesome meetup! Thanks, Dan!!
Ah -- and meant to say -- would be happy to prepare something for next week if you're looking for people! Maybe something on web startups in China (the area I worked in when I lived out there...)?
Hi Dan! It was nice to meet you. See you next time.
Ok, thanks, Dan, I'll be sure to attend an event soon!
Hi Dan, I would love to join your future Vegan event...
Dear Dan: Can you investigate and find out why David deleted my membership? I have been a vegetarian for many years, and an animal lover. I would appreciate a legitimate explanation. Thank you. Sincerely yours, Harold Altman [masked]
