Welcome, Chinese speaking parents!

We are a group of native Mandarin Chinese language-speaking families who hold a weekly playgroup to encourage our children (ages 1-3) to speak in Chinese with one another.

Our group is open to:

1) any toddler(s) with daily exposure to at least one native (or near native) speaker of Chinese in their family;
2) families living in or nearby Alexandria, VA;
3) families willing to take turns hosting playgroups either in their home or at an outside location; and
4) families willing to patiently encourage their toddler(s) to only speak Mandarin Chinese during playgroup sessions.
