Jun. 1 Chinese Workshop (London): Top 10 Basic Questions

Chinese Workshop is back in London! Kat is traveling in Europe, and giving back to each city she visits with free Chinese lessons. Catch them while they're in town!

What's your name? Where are you from? And why are you learning Chinese? Let's master the 10 questions your new Chinese friends are most likely to ask you.

To prepare: Share with the group one question and answer.

Kat has a system of learning Chinese that aims at better retention and more implicit learning. Come ready to talk! :D

*Chinese Workshop lessons are conducted in English and Chinese (Mandarin). Each workshop is a stand-alone lesson. All levels are welcome. If you are a native speaker of Chinese, this Meetup may not be for you, as the lesson is intended (and the talk time reserved) for learners of Chinese. Thanks for your understanding. :)

*Kat's visiting for 2 weeks, and can only offer 2 workshops. You can take a look at our past workshops in Paris, London and Amsterdam on this site, or those in New York here: http://www.meetup.com/chinese-308/

*There's a £2 event fee to go toward the Meetup Organizer subscription charge, which the organizer pays Meetup.com every month to host the group.

Hope to meet you then! :D

Thanks Kat, We four had a great session this afternoon. We worked hard and stretched our minds. I mentioned the ten Mandarin lessons per term for £65 at WMC [Working Men’s College - women also welcome] at NW1 1TR http://www.wmcollege.ac.uk/ where our text book is “Mastering Chinese” by catherine hua xiang and published by Palgrave. That’s the book: If you buy it, I can ‘lend you’ the audio files to save you the cost of the CDs. There’s also an open online audio library to supplement the book. Come and have a (free) look at WMC on a Thursday evening at 19:40pm. Hey Kat, I look forward to us all getting together for our next (London) Chinese Workshop. Stay in touch. Roger: [masked][masked]

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
