A visit to WanQingYuan

When talking about modern Chinese History, it's impossible not to mentioned, Dr. Sun Yat Sen, one of the very few people respected by both the ROC and PRC. The man whom founded Modern China.

Not many people know that Singapore was an important location during Dr. Sun's career to restore Chinese rule and culture, and he visited our land many times during his revolution days.

WanQingYuan was a place one of his friends had graciously allowed him to stayed in and use as The Singapore HQ for his revolutionary activities, and today, is a Memorial Hall that contains much memories of the deep ties between China and Singapore during those uncertain times.

Let's have a visit to this Memorial Hall, and find out more about the link between modern Singapore and Chinese history. ^^

The Memorial Hall closes at 5pm, so let's meet at Toa Payoh and walked there together around 3:30pm, we can have dinner together after that.

Please do wear your Hanfu along if you have any, thanks. ^^

How to get there if you're late.
