Hey Thanks for suggesting the meetup! I just checked the registration page but unfortunately it's closed. Hopefully we can arrange a meetup for that next time.

"Before 1982, Taiwanese citizens were not allowed to travel abroad freely. As late as 1992, a Taiwanese citizen by law could face a life sentence when he or she attempted to "overthrow the government." Today the 23 million Taiwanese seem to take it for granted that democracy is a way of life. But when democracy is translated into the language of a lifestyle, punctuated by traditional Chinese culture, what does that exactly mean?

Please note that this is a ticketed event and advance registration is required. To register and receive your ticket please visit our online booking page.

There is no charge to attend.

Following the talk there will be a question and answer session.

*** I will be going to this event anyway and would love to meet like-minded new friends before or after the event for a friendly chat about Chinese culture or cross-cultural issues, or of course what you think of Dr Lung and her books ***

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
