Jennifer M., if you're still coming, Lynn and I are under the trees right by the exit to the underpath before you get to the oak street beach cafe sign.

Not feeling too great, so I'm going to have to skip today. See you all next week!

I might be a little late, but I'm on my way! I have on a light blue shirt, black pants, and a navy blue bandana in my hair.

Another suggestion would be the Original Pancake House. I've never been but it seems to be the closest at the corner of State and Cedar St. Or Markethouse? This is closer to west egg but we would be able to make a reservation which I don't think you can do at yolk or west egg.

Anything is fine with me. what mileage are we shooting for. We can always make our route end at the brunch place. I like running through the steets, you get traffic light breaks ;)

There aren't a ton of brunch places in that particular area. I know because it's not too far from where I work. I can only think of two off the top of my head: the Yolk at Grand and McClurg, and West Egg Cafe at Fairbanks and Ontario. Each is about a 15-minute walk from Oak Street Beach. I've eaten at both, and they're both really good, and also cost-effective. Here are the links to both places:

Could we start at oak street and eat around Belmont? Are there more brunch places around there? I'm not too familiar with that area. I know there's a place in lakeshore east called wild strawberry which wouldn't be to far either.

Where are we meeting? And can I still come if I can't make the Big Ten 10K anymore?

Of course you can join! I think Oak Street Beach is a good midway point. I'm not sure about brunch places though, suggestions are welcome!

Do any of you have a place to suggest for meeting for the run and brunch? I live near the south side but am willing to meet on the north side if more of you live up there.

I was about to ask that same thing. We usually run around Belmont Harbor. However, I'm sure we could move a little further south if that would be easier for you. Anyone have any suggestions? The Oak Street beach might be a good halfway point.

We're doing an evening run and dinner on the 26th. Two runs in one day may be a bit much. Any way we can change this one?
