Monster Dash

The Chicago area is sort of a dead zone for halfs between November and then spring so I thought if I posted this early enough it would give people the opportunity to train for their 1st (or 80th) half marathon. If enough people are interested they could join an email group that will send out a training plan and meet 3 times per week.

    Anyone that would like to train for this half marathon with a few of us please email me at [masked] We typically run 3 times a week, a weekend long run, a midweek tempo and a midweek speed workout at the track at Chicago Ave (sometimes we do a hill workout at Cricket Hill instead). Training would start the 2nd week in September. First workout probably 9/10 or 9/11.
