As much a part of American culture as Old Glory and Mom’s apple pie, quartet singing is an original American art form. It thrives today through the efforts of an organization formed in 1938. The Chordsmen Chorus of San Antonio is a nonprofit organization dedicated to barbershop singing. We are a Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society which has over 23,000 members world wide. The Chordsmen Chapter was chartered in 1955 and we're celebrating our 59th season of bringing music, laughter, and entertainment in four part harmony to South Texas. The chorus members represent about every occupation and profession, and range in age from the “teens to seniors.” We are united in our desire to sing four part harmony and to sing it well.
